Born in Galway, on the west coast of Ireland, Berina lives 5 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean.
After studying to be a Goldsmith with the Design Crafts Council Ireland, Berina went on to finish her degree in Fine and Applied Art at the Belfast College of Art, she has worked nationally and internationally with a number of goldsmiths and set up her own workshop in Galway in 2000.
Berina designs and makes exhibition and collectable pieces in precious metals. Her diffusion collections blend elements of her work in sterling silver, for everyday wear.
